The logic is this. By blogging on more of a 'needs must' basis, this will save time sitting at the computer screen with that feeling that you will let down all your friends if you don't blog something as well as saving oodles of time and of course using up less of the worlds precious resources. So as a fairly well meaning member of our well off western society, I can blog away every so often and only leave a toe print of carbon behind me!! (unless, of course I make it an extra long blog to make up for what I haven't blogged about....oh no!!!)
So, to play catch-up. Since my last blog only three months ago but the world has changed! Japan has experienced its worst earthquake, revolutions have taken place in Egypt, Bahrain, Syria, Libya, and other Middle East countries, tornado's have devastated parts of Kansas, William and Kate have married, The Queen has been to Ireland, Obama has been to London and twitter is in the spotlight. On a personal front, I have done my first three hill climbs, we have spent time with some good old friends, Martin & Louise and Ros & Steve, Jacky has convalesced and returned home and Blu is now spending her time between here and Richmond. We are looking forward to a holidays at the chateau in St Cyprien in June, Burgh Island Hotel in September and Rome at the end of September to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary this year. To get right up to date, this weekend went to the Exmouth festival and watched and excellent set by Girlfriday including the latest song 'Rock Star' (just named it) - brilliant song and has got to be a hit!! Managed to repair my cross trainer this morning so fingers crossed it will keep going. So there you have it, from climate saving to mending my cross trainer in a few words, and I only had to blog once! Well, yes, I have left out quite a bit but not many people would ever notice...would they?
