We don't need no resolutions!........

Another year has arrived and we have lots to look forward to. We also have a mixed bag of memories from 2010 including our holiday in a chateau in St Cyprien (Dordogne), track days and hill climbs, family bereavement and some quite extreme weather. We are looking forward to this year as a little bit special as its our 40th wedding anniversary in September but I'm sure at least one of us will want to milk that for all its worth throughout the whole year! Finding the time to do things always seems quite difficult but I think the aim is to socialise a bit more, improve fitness levels, travel a bit and enjoy life together and with our family. I hope to try a bit of hill climbing with the Starlet and improve my bowling skills. Learning to swim and to improve piano and guitar playing would be three things I would like to achieve this year - so maybe I've set myself a few new challenges? I can't go a whole year without visiting France, so I hope we make that and also India for a special trip later on in the year. As I wrote in my previous blog, this Christmas was very different being quite relaxed as was New Years eve with our friends Dennis and Lucia. I'm glad I don't do new year resolutions because if I achieve the above, by the end of this year I will have improved my motor-sport skills, learnt to swim, improved my piano and guitar and play bowls better and visited France, Ireland and India as well as holding down a full time job and keeping a full on wife under control....wish me luck!
