Not just any old photo....

This weekend was mostly pretty enjoyable and began with an evening wedding reception in a marquee set in a large landscaped garden of a house near Exeter. We caught up with a number of old friends and people we hadn't seen for a few years, which was great and were treated to an excellent set of a great Beatles tribute band called The Fab Beatles. They were Fab, probably because we were able to sing along to most of the song (seemed amusing at the time) as we danced the evening away. There was a spectacular firework display to finish off the evening and copious amounts of top quality ginger beer. All in all, a great time.
Managing to watch most of the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday practically uninterrupted was quite an achievement, especially as it was an interesting race.
I'm stretching the weekend because I had Monday off. GirlFiday had a EP launch party booked for the evening in Exeter, so much of the day was spent helping Blu with photos and organising the venue. The event was a great success hearing the new EP and new video for the 'Save The World' track. GirlFriday are a brilliant band, being current and, I predict, will break into the national music scene in the next few months. If you think I'm joking take a look at their website and have a look and listen to their music - hit the link and you will see what I mean. So the weekend was good and I even ended up with a signed photo for the wall!......
