Larry drew the short straw....
Another week which has been both productive for sales and enjoyable in other ways. A few good deals have been made and a few more cars have 'sold' signs on, which is what we want to see. We had Steve kids over for the weekend, while he an Sarah went to London to see the production 'We Will Rock You'. They were very good and Marg kept them occopied through Saturday and we ended the day watching the original Harry Potter film in the 'Clarke Cinema' as Josiah called it, with chocs and drinks just like the real thing! Keeping them up until ten was great because they didn't surface until about nine on Sunday! We had my parents over for lunch on Sunday and Steve and Sarah joined us as well, so it was ten for lunch. Had some of the local lamb bought last week. That lamb did not die in vain, in fact it tasted so good I am sure it must have had a really fab life jumping and running around in the Devon air, occassionally enjoying a game with its mates in the little fluffy flock, until the nasty farmer stuck it in a van and took it to be shot! Oh no, we've just eaten Larry's left back leg......tasty especially with 'be good to yourself' mint sauce. I spent some of sunday sorting an ebay ad for the Delica and watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show and later Little Shop of Horrors during the evening. Little Shop was by far the best put together film though and well worth watching again for the excellent songs. It was about a year ago that I hoped we would get the cinema up an running and I am very pleased with the way it has worked out. So, this year we must sort out the pond area. Pond or barbeque in the big hole, not quite sure yet. I think pond, as long as we can make it safe for the kids, but we'll see.
