Another year done and dusted, and seen out in great style. Mixing it with some well known characters was fun and together with some amusing and thought provoking (difficult after a few glasses of wine!) readings, music and film clips, good food and drink made the whole evening a real success enjoyed by all. Over the last few days and last evening I have mentioned having some film nights in our studio and most people seem very keen, so we will be making some dates soon and taking suggestions for particular films or themes we could use. All responses very welcome. This morning we awoke to sun streaming in and a beautiful day to start the year, so we enjoyed a walk around the university grounds before lunch. We do live in an exceptional part of the city and are very lucky to have places like this literally on our doorstep. Anyway, I can't sit in front of this screen any longer today (it's not as if I'm at work!!!) Happy New Year!
