It's surprising how much time can be spent doing mundane things like filing and tidying. I'm not complaining, though, as it's good to have a day off to get these things done. So this weekend was as bit of this and that interspersed with cooking the odd meal or two and watching a strangly amusing film late on Saturday evening. 'Sean of the Dead' to be precise - apparently a mickey take on another film 'Dawn of the Dead' - full of recently deceased people walking around in a zombie like way who can only be stopped from attacking anyone who is still alive by having their heads bashed in!! It wasn't the best film I've ever seen, in fact I would probably give it about two out of ten. I have never worked out why so many film makers use bad language just for the sake of it, like their obliged to. To my mind it's just an extremely cheap way of trying to gain attention and simply not cricket!!! Anyway moving on, Sunday was spent helping Emma and Adam clear out their garage and sort a load of boxes. My role actually was referee, preventing the arguments about what was kept and what was binned!! Last evening we watched an extremely good concert live from the Albert Hall by the Venuzualan Youth Orchestra. Not only was their musicianship exceptional but as an orchestra they performed exceptionally also and were obviosly really enjoying playing. I often get bored watching orchestras after a few minutes because they just play the music but this orchestra was a refreshing change from the norm and really brought the music to life.
Today, back to work and a very busy day, with sales picking up very well so let's hope it continues and we'll all be happy bunnies......
