almost rock and roll...

Just another weekend gigging with the band. Picked up by the tourbus at Exeter services and got taken up to town (London that is!) to set up and soundcheck before 7.00pm. Gig in St James Square, Mayfair at the Army and Navy Club. Had time to eat and down a couple of beers before the band performed at 9.30. Playing was loud and pretty good, hampered only by the amount of alcohol downed by some members before starting! Gig finished about 1.00am after which we load gear back onto the tourbus and got whisked back to Exeter by 6.00am. Who says local bands from the westcountry don't live a bit of rock'n roll occasionally! Sunday we did the family Christmas bit at my parents in Lydford where they hosted a large gathering of the clan which all went very well. So back to work today for a bit of a rest and some peace and quiet!!!
