the ice man returns...

so why haven't i blogged since jan 7th you ask? because this seems like the first day i've actaully had some time to spare since then. bit of a gross exageration i suppose but we have been very busy chasing our tails at work which means by the time i get home, eat, drink a glass or two, its hard to motivate myself into writing a blog worth reading. actually it probably reflects the fact that i'm a lazy toad!! (i was going to blame tamsin outhwaite for stopping me one evening a week, but shes too far nice to for that!) anyway i'm sat in the sales office, listening to classic fm, it's flippin cold and all the customers think global warming has turned to another ice age and winter is back and have retreated to hibernate. even the one test drive we had earlier today couldn't make her mind up. it's not as if its shoes or a dress and the colour wasn't an issue so why walk??
over the last month or so we've been busy having plans drawn up to re-convert our currently poorly converted loft or upstairs of the bungalow. it will mean taking off the whole roof and sarting from scratch but looks very good on paper. currently trying to get the best quote and deal from different builders. we will gain two large bedrooms with en-suite in each and balcony with french doors to sit and enjoy our stunning view over exeter to haldon and the estuary. fingers crossed we will be able to achieve it within our budget.
looking forward to a long weekend off this fri sat sun with a gig on fri eve, a work meal out on sat eve 'cause we did so well in feb..(well done us i say) and visit to my parents on sunday where we will also be well fed. looking forward also to flying up to emmas at the end of the month for a short break up north to celebrate our birthdays together.
well, at least i have managed it, another blog, not a very creative blog but it will hopefully give me some incentive to be more regular (if you know what i mean!) just one thing does anyone know when hotel babylon starts again!!!
