apple mac blues
well things improved on the i-pod front last evening when i managed to upload some replacement cds. still don't really understand how to select the songs i want on i-tunes without getting everthing. i will need to phone my PCW (personal computer wiz)to get the low down on i-tunes. i think i may need an upgrade - i-tunes that is not me personally although thats not a bad idea! watched extended version of Lord of the Rings - first book last evening - pretty amazing film i think. i now have a few days off work so intend to get out and enjoy the sunshine....by the way i have had to resort to writing this on a pc cause my i-mac is sulking...

what have you done to the imac then? Just hold down the apple key while you click to select the tracks you want, then drag and drop them over into the ipod. Perhaps you do need to upgrade your version of itunes, as you had it pre-ipods, didn't you?
