deja vous.....

the great thing about not having time to complete your blog (or at least that's my excuse) is that when you decide to blog on then you have (theoretically) loads more to blog about and even if not much has happened then you can create half a blog with a meaningless introduction but then you do risk losing the attention of the blog reader so i will avoid that one....
last weekend (ie nine days ago) was very full and interesting. Friday eve was spent in the firehouse, a local pub, where we ate chilli and played poker (for fun) for the rest of the evening. Sat was a working day during which i managed to sell one car and get steve in to sell the one he was driving! in the eve I had a gig a few miles out of exeter, with an amazingly brill buffet (i wish i'd taken a tupperware box, i could have had food for the week!) and getting home around 2am. The japanese grand prix starting early am meant either wake up or miss it. Amazingly i woke up and switched it on to see the warm up lap (spooky) and then sat in bed and watched the whole race which was well worth it, being the best of the season by far. Sunday we had some old friends around from ivybridge who we hadn't seen for ages. Had an excellent time, food walk and chat and catch up. It's always good to meet up with old friends and hear what they're up to. I can never understand why it always seems so long before these events happen. Last week at work was good but there are too few customers buying at the moment. This friday eve we had a mega takeaway whith emma and adam and dennis. Sat i managed some work in the garden and did some shopping with marg pm. We had a very interesting gig on sat eve at a napoleonic fort near cawsands south of the tamar river. A huge caverous building, the band played in what would have been storage vaults i assume, an amazing place but getting sound equipment down a spiral staircase was a little precarious to say the least! Home at 2am again is getting too much of a habit. Sunday washed the wifes bema (sallrite for sum!!) then off to meet my parenticals for lunch to celebrate my dads 76th birthday. Always a bit of a laugh meeting up with the family! Almost forgot, got up for the chinese grand prix, mind you you could easliy forget that one, would be good if they screw down the drain covers for next year, or perhaps they could have some of those arrows and little workmen signs so that the drivers could indicate and go around them, yes i'm sure montoya would stand a chance of missing them if they did that, or maybe thay could fit all the f1 cars with sat nav so the drivers don't get lost when they lose control and spin off!!! Well after all that mindless information we are back to square one, it's monday, i'm at work, there are no customers and lots of for sale signs, it's a bit like deja vous.....
