Just gone back in time....

Yesterday was pretty fab walkin around Dublin, actually that was a bit of a pain (literally) but we saw quite a lot of the architecture etc. Went to the guinness storehouse which was very good. A fantastic almagamation of old and new ie old machinery and objects and some quite high tech displays. Must have been good cause we actually spent some euros at the gift shop. They cleverly guide you up this very old and incredibly high building until you reach a 360 panoramic bar only serving guinness at the top. You get a free pint included so by the time you go down in the glass elevator you just have to give them some money!! Crafty me-thinks!! Blogging now from waterford quay in the south having driven down through the day. Just checked in to our B&B full of stuffed birds and antiques, and that's just the proprietors! We had to sit through a 50 point lecture on the area over tea and scones and were given our itinerary for tomorrow down to the last detail (ie when to indicate right or left!!!) by jerry who obviously started doing this halfway through the last century. Give him his due he did guide us to this internet cafe! Forgot to mention last evening had a very good italian meal followed by some live music in a bar and bought a cd. Now off to see what waterford night life has to offer.....
