And I still didn't get any petrol...

Having two cars to deliver to customers we, that is Steve and I, thought that , given the current situation, we should put a little petrol in each car. The car was looking lovely having just been serviced and valeted, so off I went just around to the local co-op to put in a tenners worth. As expected there was a queue so I pulled up to wait a few mins. I saw the car trying to pull out of the car park but thought nothing of it until it revved on to full throttle, shot across the road in front of the car in front of me and smashed straight into a brick wall. Blimey I thought, as it hit the wall, that was a bit heavy footed. It was then I realised that was not the end of it. Still revving fully it bounced off the wall and started to head towards me. Oh dear, I don't think the customer is going to like this (we always think of the customer first!) as the car hit the side of my car. Still on full throttle it then carried on and demolished most of the front of the Ford Fiesta waiting behind me and then hit a kerb, flew about twenty feet and landed neatly in some large bushes. As you can imagine there was a bit of a panic for a few mins taking names and numbers. Luckily no-one was hurt and the driver didn't seem to be very worried at all! The most annoying thing was that they then shut the petrol station and after all that I couldn't get the petrol I came for. Just goes to show what can happen when you start panic buying!
