A weeks holidiy!

Had a hectic few days with a couple of late night gigs, visit by my parents and working on the house in preparation for some new carpets on Thursday. Marg's Mum had a bad fall and ended up in hospital, adding even more trauma for both of her parent's to cope with. Marg has a natural ability to provide really positive support in these sort of situations. She was up and on her way so quickly, I think she must have almost beaten the ambulance to the hospital!
Emma, Adam and Robyn came down before the weekend. Adam went back to Army work on sunday morning. Emmas friend Marion stayed for the day (very well behaved!)with my parents. This meant working on the garden for much of the day and getting an attack of hay fever, but a couple of areas do look much better.
Emma and I have been painting all day throughout the hall area. Starting to take shape, I just hope we can complete it by tomorrow evening. This blog is getting so ordinary....ahhhh. French Grand Prix was almost as boring, apart from Alonso leaving everyone behind at the start, impressive, and Kimi getting up to second. Film evening with Steve, Sarah and a few others happens once a month. 'Million Dollar Baby' was a really good film, and as long as you don't mind a bit of blood, well worth a watch. By the way, it's my week off so I'd better get off this computer and get back to work!!!

Apostrophe police! I am going to buy you a copy of 'Eats, Shoots and Leaves' to read when you're bored at work, I think!

Looking forward to seeing the house - at the weekend maybe?

Now I'm confused, are we talking F1 racing cars or apostrophes?
