To catch up on the last few days, I worked on Sat, which was pretty quiet and no sales, gig at Havanna on Sat eve which was recorded, so my mix will now be listened to by the band. Can't get away with it any more, I suspect they'll sack me! Sunday was spent at Marg's parent's helping out a bit. Her mum perked up during the day and took a very short walk with a frame and some fresh air for a few minutes. She is quite weak, though, and can't do much without help. I hope she can remain positive and make the most of whatever time she has.
Did you see the programme on sun eve about the way males and females process different information and can complete tasks? They reckoned that the amount of testosterone in the womb directly affected finger length, and by measuring ring fingers they could predict, for example, the order in which atheletes would finish a race. What they forgot to do was introduce a blonde brain into the equation...I think it may have changed the results!
Woke up at 5.30 this morning so decided to do some early work in the garden. Made me feel really good (until 9.30am when I almost feel asleep!) We've booked a gardener to help out starting this week, I better start looking as if I am doing something! Just found out I am not the failure I have always thought!!! No, apparently I am just a 'deferred success' ... that makes me feel so much better!!!
Please sir, what does deferred success mean? Don't worry about that for the moment Shane, just focus on your GNVQ assignment.....
