I didn' see the rock, your honour!

Surprisingly, after a bit of a party at a friends house last night, I got up reasonably early to do a bit in the garden. Having a very large garden and not really having ever been the 'gardening' type, I find it quite amazing that I actually enjoy going out and making an attempt to control it before it takes over completely. I know exactly what can happen to your garden if you're not careful, 'cause I have produced and directed the show 'Little Shop of Horrors' twice before!!! (that reminds me, I'm due for a checkup at the dentist..oh sh...!!)
Managed to break my motor mower after about twenty minutes of use today, then spent an hour trying to mend it with no avail. I took this as a sign that I should lay on the sunbed until Marg came back with some food shopping and re listen to some of the music I bought earlier this week. Love the KT Tunstall, 'Eye to the Telescope' album, especially 'Suddenly I see' and the acoustic track 'Heal Over'. She sounds like a combination of Katie Melua and Natasha Beddingfield I think and just a touch too laid back at times. Good album though. My fav of the week, though, is definately the Coldplay X+Y album. I think it's brilliant. Every song is strong, melodic and well structured. Great sounds from the instruments which produce a very U2 type of mix, but with a lot of colour and presence in the performance. I noticed in the cover notes that Coldplay are very pro 'fairtrade' and have included some suggested website links to take a look at, so I have (with a little help from my friend, ta S) put thm on my blog as you will see. So there you are, take a few mo's to scan them.
